Our Paisios

The Saints of our Church are not “metaphysical beings”. There have been people, men and women, who with the sanctity of their lives inspired their spiritual children and the other people who were close to them as long as they lived.

Saint Paisios the Saint is also such a figure.

In this book, people who knew him in his everyday life talk about specific moments in his life, in which Divine Grace was always present, in a joke, a “teaser”, a conversation, even in the difficult time of pain.

Through a journalistic investigation that lasted almost an entire year, an attempt was made to attribute aspects of the Saint’s personality and to record unknown incidents about the old man who left his worldly “passage” indelibly engraved in the memory and souls of millions of people.
